Your Path to a Home You Love

Three phases. One seamless process. A remodeling experience designed to feel as exceptional as the finished home.

01
First Step

Book Your Free Consultation

Start with a no-pressure conversation. We come to you, listen to everything you’re hoping to accomplish, and give you an honest picture of what’s possible — scope, timeline, and budget range — before you commit to anything.

02
Second Step

We Capture Your Vision

After the consultation, our designer walks your space — measuring, photographing, and documenting every detail. From there, we develop the full interior design and run a feasibility study to catch structural or budgetary issues before they become expensive surprises. Only once the design is locked and the budget is finalized do we break ground. No guesswork, no mid-project pivots.

03
Third Step

Move Into Your Dream Home

When the work is done, we walk the finished space with you — together. Any items that need attention get documented and handled, not forgotten. Your project is backed by our warranty, so if something comes up after you’ve settled in, we’re a phone call away. The result is a home that’s everything you envisioned: built to last, finished to your standard, and finally, completely yours.

Projects That Tell the Story

Four recent Eastside projects that illustrate what Schock builds, and how we build it. Each one completed on time, on budget, and to the standard our reputation was built on.

Project 01 · Whole-Home Remodel

Modern Moment: Every Room, One Vision.

Issaquah · Completed 2019

The client wanted a complete rethink — not just a new kitchen, but a home that matched where their family was headed. We opened the main floor, rebuilt the kitchen around a quartz waterfall island with full-height slab backsplash, gutted and redesigned the primary bath with a freestanding tub and floor-to-ceiling tile, and carried engineered hardwoods from the entry all the way upstairs.

Every room was touched. Cabinets, countertops, tile, millwork, lighting, and plumbing fixtures selected and coordinated through a single design process — so nothing was left to chance and nothing felt mismatched.

Project 02 · Multi-Phase Remodel

Lake Sammamish View: Three Phases, One Home.

Sammamish · Completed 2022

The homeowners didn’t remodel once — they kept coming back. Three phases over three years, each one building on the last. Phase 1 opened the main floor, removed walls, replaced two fireplaces, rebuilt the primary bath with in-floor heat and a freestanding tub. Phase 2 gutted and rebuilt the upstairs full bath.

Phase 3 was the kitchen — and it was worth the wait. A bold blue island stone with a hand-chiseled edge, contrasting perimeter countertops, and a stacked stone backsplash that ties the kitchen to the family room fireplace. Nothing was torn out that didn’t need to be. Everything that stayed was made better.

Project 03 · Whole-Home Remodel

A Squak Mountain Retreat, Reimagined.

Issaquah · Completed 2021

A home with good bones and a layout that had simply run out of ideas. We gutted the kitchen, opened the main floor, relocated the laundry upstairs, and converted underused space into a proper media room with its own bath — transforming a disconnected floor plan into something that finally made sense.

The scope touched every system in the house: new furnace, full electrical rewire, plumbing rerouted to three new locations, windows replaced on multiple elevations, and a full-height stone fireplace as the anchor of the reimagined living space.

Project 04 · Whole-Home Remodel + Addition

Beaver Lake Residence: Every Floor, Every Room, Every System.

Sammamish · Completed 2024

The home on Beaver Lake had the address and the views. What it needed was a layout that matched them. We opened the main floor, removed structural walls, and rebuilt the interior completely. The rear patio was enclosed and absorbed into the family room, adding conditioned square footage that hadn’t existed before. The house gained rooms without gaining footprint.

The kitchen was rebuilt from scratch — two islands, slab countertops, a full-height slab backsplash, and a complete appliance suite. Three bathrooms were gutted and redesigned. New hardwood stairs with fabricated metal railings replaced the old railing walls. A full electrical rewire and panel replacement rounded out a project that touched every system, every floor, and every room.

Where We Work

We focus on the communities east of Lake Washington — from the lakefront neighborhoods of Medina and Clyde Hill to the foothills of North Bend and Snoqualmie. Every project we take on is in our own backyard.

Whether you’re in a hilltop home in Sammamish, a craftsman in Kirkland, or a mid-century modern on Mercer Island, our team knows the neighborhoods, the permitting offices, and the design sensibility that makes Eastside remodels distinct.

What Our Clients Say

A sampling of the reviews that have kept us on Houzz’s Best of Service list for seven years running.

★★★★★

“We interviewed four contractors before choosing Schock, and looking back, it wasn’t close. The pre-construction planning alone caught two issues that would have cost us weeks and thousands of dollars with anyone else. Our remodel finished on time, on budget, and our house has never felt more like ours.”

★★★★★

“Steve and his team showed up every day on schedule. They cleaned up every night. They communicated with us about every change before it became a problem. If that sounds like a low bar, try hiring a contractor on the Eastside and you’ll understand why we can’t recommend Schock highly enough.”

★★★★★

“The attention to detail is what separates Schock. They caught three design issues our architect missed, suggested a better solution for each one, and never once made us feel like we were the reason. Our kitchen is everything we hoped for and nothing we worried about.”
